Chris and Felipe wanted their invites to reflect their venue with an island luxury feel. Our team set out to create luxurious destination wedding invitations to suit their style.
We met Chris at our studio in 2013. Felipe and he requested a masculine color palette—specifically rich tones of browns and blues. Chris was fond of incorporating patterns and he supplied a lot of great inspiration for us. The result was this stunning tone-on-tone tropical envelope liner.
The tropical leaves carried over onto a shimmering invitation overlay with the couple’s names featured in an elegant script font.
Lifting the overlay reveals the details of their wedding weekend. Their wedding took place at Andaz Maui at Wailea over Memorial Day weekend. Because it was a holiday weekend, Felipe and Chris really wanted their guests to make the most of it. The invitation wording communicated their wish to have everyone together for a week of wedding celebration in Maui. Sounds like fun!
The champagne shimmer invitation was mounted on a chocolate brown paper for added dimension, depth, and luxury. These invitations feel substantial in your hands and emote a quality that reflects the style of Chris and Felipe.
We are absolutely thrilled at how these luxurious destination wedding invitations turned out, and more importantly, so were Chris, Felipe, and their guests!
