The folks at City Blossoms LV conceptualized a berry-hued natural wedding inspirational photoshoot at Spanish Trail Country Club. We were tasked with designing couture berry wedding invitations for the shoot.
We enthusiastically hopped on board to create these whimsical invitations with lots of fun little details. Swooned, a modern wedding inspiration website, published our fabulous photoshoot this week and we’re excited to share some stationery with you all!
First, we have the complete wedding invitation suite. A kraft mailing envelope is the first impression—giving off a natural, organic look. The enlarged whimsical envelope guest addressing makes a bold statement. The deep red berry hue pops wonderfully against the kraft. The taupe address provides the perfect subdued compliment to the red. The swirls add to the magic, letting the guests know something special is inside.
The invitation card uses the same color treatment for the fonts. This time, they’re on our signature natural white stock. The wedding venue, Spanish Trail Country Club in Las Vegas, receives the same font treatment as the bride and groom’s names. A monogram adorns the top of the card, with the couple’s initials wrapped in a leafy wreathe of mixed berries. That same adorable monogram, along with the wedding date, are on the tag that wraps the invitation card and keeps the other cards in the place.
Those other cards include a traditional reply card and envelope, again with the natural white and kraft stocks, respectively. The leaves and berries found in the monogram, make their way on the reply card. They are also found on one side of the recipe card. We absolutely love this idea for your wedding invitations! Sure, there are a million cookbooks and a billion apps and websites to get recipes. But we bet your Aunt’s famous dessert isn’t so readily available. These recipe cards get your guests more involved and connected with you as newlyweds. You and your new spouse will enjoy cooking up all of your friends and families recipes for years to come. Want to be daring?? Invite them over to eat their dish that you’ve replicated (and maybe improved upon!)
Speaking of food, berry wedding invitations definitely need appetizing menu cards to match! How cute are these menu cards? The lovely watercolor leaves and berries decorate the top of the card. The cards look absolutely stunning on this table setting. The natural dark wood table, copper utensils, and gorgeous plate make a terrific combination. The little pop of burgundy from the napkin is a feast for the eyes. Not to mention the cute blackberry garnish/decoration sitting on top of the menu.
Head on over to Swooned to see all of the pretty details captured by Rapp Photography. Are you considering a theme for your wedding? Berries? All-natural? A garden wedding? Our couture invitations will help you set the tone. It’s the first glimpse of your stylish day—let’s get it off on the right foot!
