Jair and Darrell were introduced to us by their family / wedding coordinator at TPC Summerlin. They wanted Asian wedding invitations for their nuptials reuniting them as husband and wife.
We created a design with a Japanese aesthetic to reflect the couple’s heritage. We incorporated Japanese characters onto their wedding invitations, along with sakura (cherry tree) imagery. We also used the family mon, which is a Japanese emblem used to decorate and identify an individual or family.
After some time apart, the couple reunited for a second marriage and commitment to one another. The couple created beautiful wording to invite their guests to celebrate the occasion.
The stationery was printed on a champagne shimmer stock with shades of gray ink. The family mon was carried through the reply postcards and gift tags. The result were modern Asian wedding invitations with a traditional foundation.
